I,ve been a cleaner for many years and it seems that the base pay rate has not risen much, when I started cleaning back in 1992 the base pay rate was $19 per hour, now in 2023 the base pay rate is $22 per hour, it’s definitely harder given the higher cost of living we have now, I,ve tried to get better paying jobs ,improve my education and training so why does it seem so frustrating?
