Rhys, a Full-time worker from QLD says:

I’m currently supporting myself and my non-binary fiance who is in the process of being diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and others as an adult. My rent in my home that is unsafe at best and still the best option during this rental crisis has gone up 25%. I can’t afford to live with my fiance alone, so we share and even then my fortnightly rent has raised $150. My grocery bill has increased $20-40 dollars on average and my purchases of meat have reduced. I’ve cancelled private health, I’ve cancelled quality of life entertainment. I’ve watched every bill I pay rise at varying rates. And yet my pay hasn’t moved at all. I recently had a sole car traffic accident and the only reason I now have a replacement vehicle is because my mother is dipping into her super. And were it not a hybrid, the fuel costs alone would teter me on the edge. I could go on, but I don’t think I need to.
