I’m paid the bare minimum wage for a management position and surprisingly it’s the same wage as a retail assistant who works less hours and doesn’t have the responsibility. Always trying to negotiate a better wage for all but it falls on deaf ears. It’s expensive just to go to and from work due to the lack of public transport. I spend up to $300 per fortnight in parking, fuel and tolls.
Doesn’t leave much in your pay.
Trying to find other work that pays better but there isn’t much around.
